Annual "Stuff the Turkey" Food Drive
November is our Month of Kindness and Gratitude. One way we would like to practice these important traits is by sponsoring our annual food drive. From November 18th to December 21st, Memorial School will be conducting a non-perishable "Stuff the Turkey" Food Drive.
We are especially excited this year since, for the first time, our proceeds will go directly to a Bedford pantry, with the purpose of serving Bedford families. We have the unique opportunity of helping the newly created Food Pantry at Presbyterian Church, which plans to open for the upcoming holiday season. (Once a location outside of the church is found, the pantry will become the Bedford Community Food Pantry.)
We will greatly appreciate any donations you are able to give, to get the pantry started. Items such as canned proteins (meats, fish, vegetables, etc.), pasta, peanut butter, jelly, rice, flour, sugar and cereal are especially needed. If you would like to join us in helping our new Bedford pantry, please send the items into school with your child. If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Pleat, X3206.
